First, what are you good at? What is it that sets you apart?
Second, what were you born to do? What is your specific talent?
Third, what will people pay you to do? Is what you’re good and talented at a marketable skill?
Fourth, Who? Who do you want to work with?
Once you've answered those questions you need to take the data that is found in all three circles and that is your golden ticket.
I also started to write My Personal Constitution. This proved a lot harder than I thought it would. I have a few values that I’d like to emulate.
Integrity - I am an
honest person with strong moral principles.
Faith - I am a believing
and trusting person in things I have not seen, but know is true.
Loyalty - I am a person
of firm and constant support and allegiance to those I trust.
Virtue - I am a person
with high moral standards.
Knowledge - I am actively
engaging in acquiring information and skills through education and experience.
Trustworthy - I am able
to be relied upon as honest and truthful.
Charitable - I am giving
and kind to others.
Friendliness - I am good
natured, showing warmth, caring, and compassion.
When it comes to being able to come up with goals my mind feels
so stagnant. I can’t think. I’ve
never been good at setting goals. I guess this is the part where I get pushed
past what I feel I’m capable of.
This will be my mantra
for next week.
